Mother and Child, icon

This item is based on our original painting, named “Mother and Child”. The image depicts two halo-glowing figures in ancient garb of a beautiful, beatified mother carrying a child in her arms (Virgin Mary and Jesus child), who’s holding a folded piece of scripture in his hand. It was painted in a non-traditional style, resembling Eastern Orthodox Iconography. The original was painted with acrylic on paper, in vivid color nuances of red, yellow, green.
